Island View Lodge is well known for the trophy size Tigerfish and various bream species which are caught by conventional fishing methods as well as on fly.
Tigerfish angling can be enjoyed throughout the year and Bream angling from late May to the end of December.
Island View is host to the International Zambezi Classic Open
angling challenge and has been in 2008 and 2009 as well - this is the single biggest angling competition in Southern Central Africa.

Our well maintained fleet of boats can be hired on an hourly or
a half-day or full day basis. All boats are hired with an experienced professional guide, which will assist and advise on the best angling method, bait selection and locations to fish. The Tackle Box
A large selection of lures, spinners, spoons sinkers and fishing line, suitable for landing any of the many angling species, is available for purchase at the tackle shop. Earthworms can be purchased at the Lodge.
